Masters Swim: 2.26.18

Coming in strong this Monday with a new swim set! This workout allows you to make things as long or short as you want. With each round of the main set being 1100, it makes the math easy! 

 

Warm up: 

8x100 on 20" rest - w/fins

- Odds: 50 kick/50 swim

- Even: 50 drill/50 swim

(800 warm up, on top of whatever you do before starting this portion)

 

Main Set: Do as many rounds as you need to get the distance you want. My suggestion is at least 2 rounds. 

 

200 pull on 30" rest

150 build on 20" rest

2x100 on 15" rest

**Switching to intervals now** 

3x75 on 1:05-1:20ish interval **Note you'll end up on the opposite side of the pool** 

- Breathing pattern of 3/5/3

4x50 on 50"-1:00+

- Descending #1-4. 

5x25 on 25-30"

(1100 rounds) 

 

Warm down

100 easy. 

 

Totals: Based on how many rounds of the main set you did. 

- 1 round = 2000

- 2 rounds = 3100 

- 3 rounds = 4200 

- 4 rounds = 5300
