Masters Swim: 03.07.18

Jon was out sick today so I got the early call to step up and coach today. Now y'all get to enjoy the set as well! 

 

Warm up: 

6x50 drill/swim x25 on 15" 

- 3/4 catch up - Focus on the lead hand not moving until the recovery hand starts moving (after the pause). 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4x100 on 20" rest

- 50 kick/50 swim

(700 warm up) 

 

Main Set: This is a mental focus set, staying present with where you are and what you're currently doing right now! 

Pulling: 200, 175, 150, 125, 100, 75, 50, 25

- Take 15-20" rest between each. 

4x150 on 20" rest

- 50 swim/50 Fast Kicking (kick only)/50 swim

Swimming: 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200

- Take 15-20" rest between each

(2400 main set/3100 total) 

 

Warm down: 

100 easy

- Total: 3200
